In the beginning, Razi lacked confidence and struggled with discipline. Submitting homework on time felt overwhelming, and Math was something he feared. But things began to change with the guidance of his teachers — Tina Ma’am, who taught him the importance of punctuality, and Rishi Sir, who turned Math into something fun and approachable. Slowly, his grades started improving.
And then came his first big achievement: securing 2nd position in his school in Class 5. For a boy who once doubted himself, that moment was life-changing. It marked the start of a journey filled with determination.
But Razi didn’t stop there. He worked harder each year, balancing academics with responsibilities at home. His dedication was recognized in 2022, when he received the All-Rounder Performance Award at GDF.
Razi’s journey wasn’t just about academics. He fought his initial shyness to become a confident performer — reciting poetry and dancing at Milan Mela in front of an international audience, anchoring Agrani, and even being featured in a local newspaper for his “Ganesha” dance performance.
Despite financial constraints, Razi never let go of his passions. From Mandala art and painting under the Samta Program to drawing and performing, his creativity blossomed alongside his confidence.
And beyond creativity? Razi dreams of becoming a professional cricketer. Today, he’s part of the Jagriti Sporting Club, where he’s played and won multiple matches. Football is his other love, and he practices tirelessly to get better every day.
His favorite memory? The GDF Carnival — not for the games or prizes, but because he saved his coupons to buy a T-shirt for his father. A small gesture that speaks volumes about his character.
From a boy with doubts to a young leader guiding his juniors, Razi’s transformation is nothing short of inspiring. He says:
“GDF taught me that struggles don’t define you — your effort does.”
