When the pandemic hit in 2020, millions of underprivileged children were pushed out of classrooms overnight. But at GDF, we refused to let learning stop.

Growth in the Toughest Times
During the pandemic years, we didn’t just survive — we grew:
- Opened two new centres — Gangdhara and Promod Nagar -- despite infrastructure and mobility challenges
- Trained and recruited new local teachers entirely through our online teacher training program
- Brought solar power, moral education, and employment opportunities to underserved villages
- Empowered young women to take on teaching and leadership roles, right from their homes
A Lasting Shift
COVID-19 changed how we teach — and it made us stronger.
The crisis pushed us to invest in digital systems, online teacher training, and scalable models that continues to benefit us today.
