From the Mentee's pen

Hello everyone, this is Vishesh Saraf, a student of The bhawanipore College, pursuing B com. Today I'm here to tell you abt my experience at Gyan Deepak Gyan Deepak is a not for profit organisation which aims at nurturing education, policies, manners, etiquette, discipline etc, to the needy and to the children who are deprived of education. Since last year I had been associated with Gyan Deepak as a teacher for a particular batch of children. I taught them mathematics and social studies. The students here are very sincere and hardworking and very motivation driven. They would go to no ends to Finish a particular task given to them on the very same day. I was Also a part of the "Samta-Teen mentorship" programme since last year August. Basically it was a programme where the students of Gyan Deepak were mentored by teens the likes of me. My batch had around 20 students from different schools spread across Kolkata.. We had 6 Months of this programme where our primary aim was to impart knowledge about current affairs, gk and any other important matter to our student. I was fortunate enough to be picked and be assigned to a really bright student. Being a part of Gyan Deepak also made my lockdown productive.
